Q I'm a kidshow performer, how many watts do I need in a PA system?
A It always amazes us how wattage is used to determine whether or not a PA system will do the job considering the deceiving methods used by manufacturers to state wattage. An amplifier's wattage may be figured in many ways with completely different results(r.m.s., into 8 ohms, 4 ohms, 2 ohms, input wattage, output wattage, peak power, program power, etc.). Many people purchase a system thinking they are getting 100 watts, but when you figure it out to USABLE wattage, it is more like 12 watts! The PAS-8000 is a 100 watt system - We have always designed our systems to be EFFICIENT (built with matched components - matched components "work together" to make the system efficient and able to get the best performance out of the system). A 50 or 100 watt efficient system will outperform a 200-300 watt in-efficient system any day! Personally, rather than just throwing a wattage at you, we prefer to tell how we use the system (hundreds of kids in a school cafeteria..) to give you an idea of how the system works in the real world. Q My brother-in-law is a musician and he knows all about these things. He says I need at least two hundred watts. My nephew is a DJ, he says the same thing.
A If you are a musician or a DJ, listen to them. If you are purchasing a portable PA to use for meetings, lectures, for teaching or seminars, presentations, magic or puppet shows, etc. don't listen to them. Musicians and DJs have a completely different set of needs. Think about it. A musician or DJ is usually hired to provide music for a wedding reception, party, or at a club - they are part of the atmosphere. While they are playing, people are talking, laughing, shouting, silverware is dropped, etc. They need the high wattage to be heard over the din. On the other hand, you as a presenter, performer, or leader of a meeting has the audiences attention - they have come to see and hear you! All you need is a system to amplify your voice so those in the back of the room can hear. Don't get me wrong, a large powerful system will work fine, but do you really want to lug around a big, heavy, expensive, complicated system when a small, efficient system will do the job?

Q What if I don't like the system? What's your return policy?
A Lots of people ask, and we don't blame you; buying something sight unseen over the internet. Here's what we tell everyone: If you would like to order a system, we will ship it out promptly. When you get it, all we ask is that you open it up, turn it on, talk into it - really try it out. If you absolutely hate it (and after selling 5000+ systems shipped literally around the world with everyone who has one loving it, we're pretty confident..) just give us a call (within a few days, please, we could not afford to have someone keep it for a month or two...) and you can return, no problem. Fair enough? Also, if you're not sure if one of our systems will work for your purpose, just give us a call or send an email. We will be glad to listen to your special needs and recommend a system that will be best suited for you. Q Service after the sale - What if I have a question or need a part or repair?
A Just pick up the phone and give us a call at 954.252.1834 or send an email. We are more than happy to answer questions and, if necessary troubleshoot a problem (and we don't transfer you to "tech support" in India...). Q What if I don't want to give my credit card over the Internet?
A That's fine, simply continue through the ordering process until it asks you for a credit card number, then simply choose "check" or "phone" as a payment option and we will receive your order electronically. You can then give us your credit card number over the phone, or write us a check, and as soon as we receive payment, we'll ship your order.
