This new model was over 2 years in development. We are very proud of the result! The unit is small in size, measuring 10.5”x 8”x 6.5” and weighs under 10 pounds. The A.T.A. Styled case is made of WOOD and METAL – not cheap plastic – very professional looking (and sounding..) and sturdy. It will fit under an airplane seat for you world travelers, or will easily stow in the corner of your prop case. We have been use these systems in all of our school assembly programs. Hundreds of kids have been packed into school cafeterias, auditoriums and gymnasiums to see our shows and this little PA system allows them all to hear the show. When working outdoors, expect the unit to cover about half the size of an indoor audience, as the sound disperses in the great open spaces - but you can still cover a couple hundred people.

PAS-8000 Portable PA
The PAS-8000 has a Big 100 watts of power (most portable PA's on the market only have 15-25 watts). The unit comes with TWO wireless microphones system built right in. These are high quality HIGH BAND systems. That is to say it is NOT like the cheap wireless microphones that pick up interference from garage door openers, TV remotes and car alarms! You actually receive three microphones in the box, a headset mic, which you can wear on your head, or around your neck, AND a clip-on lapel mic. As there is only one transmitter (the little belt pack) you can only use one of the mics at a time. Simply choose the one that suits you best, and keep the other one as a spare. You also receive a Hand-Held Microphone that works on a separate channel so that it may be used at the same time as the headset/lapel mic. Performers can wear the headset mic and use the Hand-Held mic to interview an audience member. For meetings, the main speaker can use the lapel mic while the Hand-Held mic can be passed around the audience for questions. Wedding Celebrants can use the headset or lapel mic while the bride and groom recite vows with the hand held mic(with music played through the MP3 player). The auxiliary jacks on the unit allows you to hook up a tape deck, CD player, iPod, another microphone, laptop computer, guitar, keyboard, etc. to your PA. The auxiliary jacks have a separate volume control ( an important feature not found on most of the other small PA's on the market)so that the music can be set differently from your voice. The line out jack allows you to hook up the PA to a larger system, allowing you to use your wireless mic through the large system.

More features: We've redesigned the transmitter beltpack for easier battery access and added a gain control knob so you can adjust the mic volume right from your beltpack! The main unit has a handle for easy carrying and a shoulder strap so you can sling the unit over your shoulder and carry your sound with you – great for tour guides, auctioneers, field trips, etc.

BIG NEWS: The PAS-8000 has a built-in MP3 player with both a USB and an SD card input WITH A WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL! Now you can play your music through the system (using the mics at the same time) and control your music with the remote! The unit is powered by its own built-in rechargeable 12V battery.. The unit is completely cordless and self contained! Just set it down, turn it on (no need to plug it in) and talk into it – couldn't be easier!

The unit is easily recharged worldwide with anything from 110V-240V AC power and the AC cable is included. The transmitter beltpack is powered by a single 9V battery. The system can be mounted on a standard microphone stand (no need to buy expensive custom speaker stands..) to get the sound up high and create a professional appearance. NEED MORE COVERAGE? Order a second PAS-8000 and request that it be shipped at the same wireless frequencies as the first unit. Place one unit on either side of stage area. You can only use the mics from one system but your voice will come out of both units (the second unit becomes a wireless extension speaker!).

Florida Magic/Alphavox PAS-8000 in action in the Philippines! (a note from Wanlu):
Tacloban City Philippines was severely damaged by Super typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) last November 2013. Three months after, still no electricity so we used my AlphaVox PAS-8000 (seen in its black gig/performance bag on the left) in our basic puppetry workhop for the survivors.

WORKED GREAT!!!
I thought you would like this picture that clearly shows your sound system. There were more than 345 people in the room. I am wearing the over the ear mic. It performed really well !
